Hey David, this blog is a year old now as well, how about sending some traffic my way :)

I was looking at my posting stats yesterday and I was surprised at how many posts I've been averaging lately, mostly once a week where I used to be 3 times that amount.

It's not like there isn't anything to talk about, my endorsement is progressing great, friends are having (or had babies) HELLO SABRINA!!! My church just hired a new pastor, and I've been doing a heap of research for assignments which is usually great posting fodder.

To make up for it, my next post is going to continue on the theme of love, stick around, it should be worth reading.

This wont mean anything to you if your not a nerd but I finally cracked through the security of my hosting company and figured out how to do remote gets to RSS feeds! Hazzah!

So far it's only one blog (the wonderful Dr. Ernie) but I'll add some more soon.

Some have noted that this month my post's have been a little further apart than in the past months. There is a reason for this apart from the general busyness of life.

I am working on an expanded version of this website to reach a wider audience as well as to be less focused on myself and more focused on the equipping of all of us for ministry, especially us new pastors.

The new site will be more portal focused. There will still be the blog and articles but I hope to get started on the sermon section as well as adding additional resources for preaching such as an expanded set of illustrations and sermon construction techniques.

I'm also aiming to add some sections like book, music and movie reviews (in that order for importance). I know a lot of other sites do this already so I'll try and aggregate content as much as possible.

The biggest change for the site is I'm looking for your contributions as well! I know my limitations and I'm looking for others further down the road to do any or all of the following. Blog, write articles and reviews or contribute sermons. If you already have a blog I'm not asking you to switch over fully, but consider cross posting here as well.

If your reading this, pre-post thingy is working properly and I am on the walk to Emmaus.

I'm not quite sure what to expect on the walk except for a lot of teaching and a lot of being loved on. My wife tells me that the people running the walk are there to serve you and minister to you and I guess that's going to be quite a change for me. I'm used to doing the ministering.

So pray for me that I'll be encouraged, renewed and walking stronger with God when I get home.

I've been looking over the logs for this site for the last month or so and something surprised me, people actually read my blog!

Not thousands a day but enough to encourage me, especially since I've only ever told three people about it, and one of them is my wife :) Hello beautiful!
