In truth, I've been putting this off for a long while. Everyone knows that the interwebs has been the poorer for the lack of a blog centered around me. I just can't bear the guilt of that anymore so here it is, emergingpastor.com

What is emergingpastor.com?

For 6 years now I have been studying with ACOM in preparation for full-time ministry. Now that I am nearing the end of my study I've decided to document my transition from working in I.T. to working in ministry, or to put it another way, my emergance into ministry.

Don't let the name fool you, this isn't a blog about emerging theology, although that will make up part of it. I respect what the emerging church movement is doing, agree with a good deal of their thinking and use some of their methodology but this is principally about me.

Apart from chronicallying my journey, I hope hat this site can become a resource to others starting off in their ministry journey, particularly those involved in small group ministry.
